Arevig Children's Magazine
"Arevig", bilingual (English - Armenian) monthly children's magazine which includes educational, interesting and fun articles, published its first March 2007 issue. Thus, Friday 9th of March 2007, at 4 in the afternoon, the launching of "Arevig" Children's Magazine took place on the premises of Holy Cross Church - Zalka. Some 250 parents and around 500 children filled the premises with joy. Thus the launching which included two parts: indoor and outdoor began!

For the indoor activity, parents were escorted to the Bedoghlian Hall, where a PowerPoint presentation on the "Arevig" Magazine was shown, covering the problems or lack of information that children might have in a variety of areas in life, from harming the environment, to hurting animals, disliking science, lacking independence, missing general knowledge, not having strong values; and "Arevig" Children's Magazine offering the children knowledge, information, solutions, and hands-on-application in a variety of topics. In addition, for each section of "Arevig", parents were given suggestions on how to motivate, encourage, and have fun with their children. Also, parents took a quiz covering some questions that dealt with some topics covered in the "Arevig" March issue, the correct answers went in a draw and five winners won valuable prizes. At the end, there were some food and refreshments appropriate for the Lent period.

Simultaneously, the outdoor activity was a blast! Five animators came to entertain hundreds of children, who were ready to have fun. Fun music was playing, and the children were dancing, and playing the games organized by the animators. They were amazed at how fast time flew.

Everyone was happy, and knowing that "Arevig" Children's Magazine is beneficial for all, and in a variety of areas, many wished to subscribe and receive the magazine on a monthly basis, delivered to their homes, addressed to the children!
